I know what it feels like to love what you do and still feel like your bank account is putting limits on your life.
For me, it got to the point where I was checking which credit card I could put groceries on that week.
I knew something had to change.
You shouldn’t have to choose between your classroom and your life.
Maybe you’re tutoring after school.
Working sporting events.
Looking for a second job.
Squeezing extra work into a schedule that already includes lesson plans, grading, and everything else teaching brings.
Sure, those things can be rewarding.
But they’re exhausting after a full day in the classroom.
Maybe you’re tired of checking your bank account before saying yes to Friday happy hour.
Or figuring out which credit card can handle spring break.
You want to say yes to dinner with friends.
A “yes day” with your kids, nieces, or nephews.
You want to build savings, maybe think about a new car, and actually have some breathing room.
You don’t necessarily want to stop teaching.
You just want to live your life, too.
I know what it feels like to think, “There has to be another way.”
In June 2023, I tried to create and sell my own digital products.
I was piecing everything together with YouTube and Google, and instead of feeling empowered, I mostly felt frustrated.
No sales. Lots of figuring it out.
So in February 2024, I intentionally started learning how to use social media.
That opened a completely different door for me.
I shared digital products as an affiliate. I built my own courses and products. I became a TikTok Shop affiliate, started creating UGC for brands, and became an Amazon influencer.
Eventually, I found what really clicked for me:
becoming a virtual assistant and doing work behind the scenes for other people.
And underneath all of it was the same reason I started.
I wanted more room in my life.
What changed wasn’t that I stopped working hard. I started learning differently.
One Saturday morning, I decided enough was enough.
I took a huge leap of faith and invested in an online classroom.
That first classroom taught me how to brand myself on social media.
The online classroom I love sharing now goes further. It teaches branding and social media, but it also teaches how to build 25+ income streams.
That matters to me because there isn’t one right way to build something online.
I’ve tried different paths myself.
And eventually, I found the kind of work I actually enjoy doing — working behind the scenes as a virtual assistant.
Now, my bills are paid. My husband and I can afford to eat out, pay cash for vacations, and I get to work from my couch with my favorite TV shows in the background.
That’s the kind of flexibility I was looking for.
I’m sharing Boss Suite because I wish I had found it sooner.
